....some thoughts

I recently began volunteering at a local animal shelter called Indraloka Animal Sanctuary. It's sad to see animals which have endured abuse both physically and emotionally. However, I've learned that while there is a certain sadness, you have to be happy that they are in a better place. Afterall what they need most now is love.

About 5 days a week I visit, feed, and play with all the animals. The hours I spend there are some of the happiest moments of my day. Currently there are 6 horses, 41 cats, 4 dogs, 2 pigs, 15 chickens, and 6 turkeys at the sanctuary. It's one happy family!
